Dad says it's my turn to write you a letter......but I just sent one so now I don't know what to talk about since it's in the letter and if I respond to what's in the letter then you have nothing to write back about....in your letter....

Obvious questions.....How's the weather? Companion? Food? Are you cold? Hot? Jacket? Shoes? Spirit? EVERYTHING IS GOING GREAT, I HAVE SO MUCH LEFT OVER FOOD FROM THE FUNERAL IN OUR WARD. DONT WORY IT WAS NOBODY I KNOW, BUT THE LADY THAT WAS THERE GAVE US ROCKS TO REMEMBER TOM. SO I WILL BE SENDING KYLEE THE "DEAD TOM" ROCK... IT IS JUST SILLY AND DEMENTED ENOUGH TO BE FUNNY FOR HER. HAHAHA I HAVE BEEN COLD BUT TODAY ITS 60 SO OFF WITH THE JAKET FOR TODAY... I AM PLAYING FOOTBALL!!! AND GUITAR AT THE MUSIC STORE. BE PROUD OF ME!! I HAVE NOT BEEN INTO THE BIKE SHOP FOR A MONTH!!!! THANK GOODNESS FOR FULLY FUNCTIONING BIKES! BUT I AM RALY GOING TO BABY THE NEW BOTTOM BRACKET... UMMM. O YA. I HAD BRIANNAS BAPTISM AND THE WATTER WAS SO HOT THAT IT SCALDED ME FROM THE WAIST DOWN. LUCKLY IT WAS ONLY MILED AND I WAS FINE IN 2 DAYS... AND THEN WE WERE DOING AN OBJECT LESSON(ELDER BEANS IDEA) AND THE END RESULT WAS ME CHORCHING MY INDEX FINGER AND THE SPACE BEETWEEN THE INDEX KNUCKLE AND THE THUMB. I CALED THE MISSION NURSE "AGAIN "AND TOLD HER THAT I WAS HAVING A BAD WEEK. BUT I WAS FORTUNATE TO AQUIRE PERSCRIPTION BURN OINTMENT FROM A NURSE IN OUR WARD AND IT IS HEALY BEAUTIFULY!!! SO NO NEED TO WORRY. BUT I HAD THE ROOT CANAL THE NEXT DAY.. THEY WERE IN ME FOR 2 HRS.!!!! THAT AFTERNOON WAS THE FIRST TIME I GOT REALLY TRUNKY AND FOR ABOUT 2MIN THOUGHT ABOUT GOING HOME. THEN I CAME TO MY SENSES AND HAN MY COMP SLAP ME AND ALL WAS WELL. I LOVE MISSION SUPPORT. THE BONDS I AM MAKING AND THE FAVORS I AM AQUIERING. I HAVE NOW A MACANIC THAT WILL FIX ME UP FOR FREE, A VP AT BMW WHO HAS PROMISED ME 35% OFF A USED BMW AFTER THE MISH. (HE IS ALSO GOING TO TAKE US ON A TEST RIDE IN THE NEW 5 SERIES) I CANT WAIT. BUT DONT WORRY ITS JUST A TEST DRIVE. I SPECIFIED NO RACING OR CRAZY STUFF.. I ALSO HAVE OUR NEW WARM MISSION LEADER WHO BUILDS CUSTOM GIBSON GUITARS AND SAYS HE WILL SEND ME ONE AFTER THE MISH. AND THIS IS JUST MY GREENY AREA. HAHA UMM. I DONT KNOW IF YOU GOT THE PICS FROM JAN MONTEZ.. SHE IS ALOT LIKE YOU. ALSO THE WARD MISSION LEADER MOVED... SAD DAY. BUT HE LEFT ME WITH A BUNCH OF GOOD STUFF. LIKE A MASSAGE PAD...AND SOME SWEET TIES. I AM IN LOVE WITH TIES... I AM UP TO 112 MEMORIZED SCRIPTURES. I FEEL SO ACOMPLISHED TO HAVE PASSSED 100!!
Hey I'm 4 pounds closer to my goal weight! I had the flu for 2 days and UGH! kill me dead! Then Kylee came home with it...puked in the street and the driveway....NASTY! Kasey had it a few days before me....we're hoping since Dad had all that "service" waiting on us all being sick that he'll be immune this go around.HAHA NICE.. I AM TRYING TO SLOW DOWN ON THE WEIGHT GAINING TOO. I DONT WANT TO HAVE TO GET NEW SUITS..IM AT 145 NOW STARTED AT 120
SO.....Kelsey's baptism went well. I met 2 sister missionaries. They were cool. We chatted and goofed around for the whole baptism...so irreverent....doesn't sound like me at all! :/ Anyway....then afterwards I kept getting the impression that I should ask for their parents addresses so that I could write to them and tell them , from an outsiders point of view, how their missionary is doing. It took some working up to do....but I did it! So I came home and emailed their parents.....one sister has been out for over a year and the other just 4 months. Both parents were SO happy to get my email. They agreed that our missionaries probibly only tell us what we want to hear, so it was nice to hear if from a different perspective. The one mom liked that I reported on things a mom wants to know....I said that she looked good, was in good spirits, her clothes were in good condition and she really "loves" what she's doing. She's from Portland.....so now we have a little connection. Kinda cool how that works! THATS SO SWEET. THE GOSPEL GIVES US SUCH A GOOD FELLOWSHIP.. I LOVE IT SO MUCH, ESPECIALY BEING ABLE TO SHARE IT. I USE TO LOVE BASHING WITH PEOPLE.. AND I GOT REALLY GOOD AT MAKING ALOT OF PASTORS LOOK REALY STUPID WHEN NOT ONLY NEW WHAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT THE BIBLE AND KNEW IT BETTER THAN THEM. BUT KNOW HOW TO PROVE THEM WRONG. BUT I STARTED REALIZING THAT THE SPIRIT ISENT THERE. SO I JUST TELL THEM THAT" I DIDDENT CAME HERE TO ARGUE OR CONVINCE YOU... I AM HEARE TO SHARE THE MESSAGE OF THE RESTORED GOSPEL WITH ALL WHO ARE WILLING TO RECIVE IT.. HAVE A NICE DAY." AND WHEN WE GET THE REALLY AGRESSIVE AND ANTAGONISTIC..BORDERLINE VIOLENT.. AND SCREAMING IN MY FACE PASTORS I JUST SAY. "SIR.. I AM DISAPOINTED.. I EXPECTED MORE PROFESIONAL BEAHAVIOR FROM A PASTOR OF THE LORD.. I HOPE THAT YOU TEACH YOUR CONGREGATION TO EXERCISE CHRISTLIKE BEHAVIOR THAN YOU HAVE SHOWN ME"(OR SOMTHING TO THAT EFFECT) AND THEN THIS ONE TOLD ME THAT I HAD NO IDEA WHO CHRIST WAS ALONG WITH SOME OTHER VERY HATEFUL THINGS. AND I JUST SMAPED AND TOLD HIM HOLLEND STYLE"SIR.. WE MAY NOT BELIVE THE SAME BUT HOW DARE YOU TELL ME THAT I DONT KNOW MY SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST... AND THEY STARTED PRYING AND ASKING ABOUT WHY MAN COULD BE SEALED TO MORE THAN ONE GIRL AND NOT THE OTHER WAY AND ALL KINDS OF STUFF LIKE THAT. AND ABOUT THE PROACTICE OF PLURAL MERRIGE.. I TRIED TO DEFER IT. (I TEACH THE CLASS 50% OF THE TIME) BUT THEY WOULD NOT LET IT GO. SO I LOOKED ANT MY COMP. HE SAID GO FOR IT. AND I DROPED THE BOMB THAT THOUGH PALLIGAMY WAS DONE AWAY WITH, IT IS AND ETERNAL PRINCIPAL AND PRACTICE.. AND THEN SAID THAT IF THEY HAD ANYMORE QUESTIONS THEY COULD TALK TO THE BISIOP. THE BISHIOP SAID I DID THE RIGHT THING.
They both are now inspired to write to the parents of the missionaries in their wards. Maybe we'll start a trend! Novel thought....I'm sure ward members write to missionary parents all the time....don't they???? Anyway...just thought I'd share!

Grandma is on the mend. Don't know where we left off on her. Played musical hospitals for like a week....surgery here...procedure there..everywhere she could visit a Dr. she did! They thought she had an infection in her knee but came to find out that it had a small fracture from one of her many falls....she finally passed some stones....the knee is getting better....
Pa is on medication for that weird hacking cough he has......

The ward is doing well. Hey the Howell's are expecting a boy! They like the name Skylar. I'm like..."ya it's a good name"...and Howell was like.."no...I'm serious". Long pause.....
Cool...glad they feel it would be a "good name" for their boy.....But it's a family joke that his name will be Nemo.....I'm thinking they should see what's behind door number 3!!!! ha ha ha THATS SO SWEET!!! IT IS WORTH IT TO NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT.THE RIMS AND REAR DERAILER ARE LITTERALT THE ONLY ORIGIONAL PARTS. MY FRAME WENT TO CRAP THIS WEEK! :( LUCKLY THERE WAS A MEMBER THAT GAVE ME A BIKE FRAME THAT HE WAS NOT GOING TO USE. ITS REALY NICE. ALUMINUM/ CARBON FIBER. IT WEIGHS 4 POUNDS AND IS STRONGER THAN A STEEL ONE. HE GOT IT FROM A MISSIONARY A WHILE BACK. WE HAVE PRAYPAINTED IT TO LOOK REALY UGLY AND CHEEP AS A THEFT DETERENT, (BY THE WAY MY HEADLIGHT GOT STOLEN!!!) AND OF CHORES THE FRONT DERAILER AND SHIFTERS I HAD ARNT COMPATABLE. BUT ON THE BRIGHT SIDE I WILL BE ABLE TO PUT 50 BACK INTO THE ACCOUNT TODAY PROBABLY. I COULDENT USE THE WALMART CARD BUT A MISSIONARY TRADED ME CASH FOR IT TO HELP ME OUT. THATS WERE HE DOES HIS SHOPPING!! AND I SAVED LABOR CHARGES BY HAVING A MEMBER WHO WORKED IN A BIKE SHOP SHOW ME HOW TO ASSENBLE MY BIKE! I CAN NOW BUILD A BIKE FROM SCRACH! AND THE GUYS AT THE SHOP SAID I DID GOOD!! I JUST NEED TO LEARN WHO TO AJUST GEARING. I BOUGHT THE SHIFTERS AND THEY LET ME USE THE SHOP TO PUT THEM ON. THEY HAVE MADE THE WHOLE ORDEAL ALOT EASYER. BUT I AM LIVING OF THE SUBWAY CARDS FROM GRAMA AND I AM KILLING OF WHATEVERS LEFT IN THE PANTRY. NOT JUST BECAUSE IM POOR BUT BECAUSE ITS THE LAST WEEK OF TRANSFERS AND I AM NOT GOING SHOPPING JUST TO GET TRANSFERED!! HAHA I HAVE SUFFICIANT FUNDS TO LAST UNTIL PAYDAY(THE 1ST) THEN I WILL BE GOOD TO GO! I LEARNED HOW TO LIVE OF 40 BUCKS!!! LOTS OF RICE RAMEN AND MAC! I TRIED TO SAVE YOU GUYS AND USE AS MUCH OF MY MONTHY FUNDS AS I COULD. I KNOW MONYS REAL TIGHT.BUT I JUST LEARDED THAT THAT IS AGAINST THE RULE! OOPS!!! REPENT AND MOVE ON! I NEED TO DO WHAT NEEDS TO GET DONE AND JUST SHOW HIM LOVE AND SUPPORT HIS RITIOUS ACTIONS. I HAVE TO ADMIT I HAVE SLACKE DOF A LITTLE. IT HARD WHEN YOU KNOW THAT UNLESS YOU DECIDE TO GO AND DO SOMTHING IT WONT GET DONE. ITS REALY EASY TO SAY "I THINK WE HAVE DONE ENOUGH TODAY" ESPECIALY WHEN HE IS NICER WHEN I AGREE TO SIT AROUND. We are still having computer problems but I think Sandi has them Fix I hope.

IT IS WORTH IT TO NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT.THE RIMS AND REAR DERAILER ARE LITTERALT THE ONLY ORIGIONAL PARTS. MY FRAME WENT TO CRAP THIS WEEK! :( LUCKLY THERE WAS A MEMBER THAT GAVE ME A BIKE FRAME THAT HE WAS NOT GOING TO USE. ITS REALY NICE. ALUMINUM/ CARBON FIBER. IT WEIGHS 4 POUNDS AND IS STRONGER THAN A STEEL ONE. HE GOT IT FROM A MISSIONARY A WHILE BACK. SHE HAS A SWEET RECORD COLLECTION! AND WE TALKED MUSIC TILL IT WAS TIME TO GO. AND THAT REMINDS ME! THE DRUMMER FROM JOURNEY IS A MEMBER NOW AND MOVED TO KIZER!!!! I GUESS HE LIVES LIKE RIGHT DOWN THE STREET FROM BISIOP! I HOPE HE SIGNS UP FOR DINNER!!!

Mom talked to Rocky, and Bo got to Honduras, and loves it. I will tell you he has a cook and a maid. I'm glad that you don't. It's better in the long run. fOR SURE!!! I AM THE COOK AND THE MAID. I BOUGHT PAPER TOWELS TODAY AND HE TOLD ME THAT WE DONT NEED THEM. I TOLD HIM THAT IF HE WAS THE ONE THAT WIPED THE COUNTERS DOWN AND CLEANED THE HOUSE THAN HE WOULD. You should give us a Christmas list, people are asking what to get you. TIES(NOT PRINT ON, OR WITH LOGOS. PREFERABLY POLYS, I AM CONVERTED! HAHA. )POPULAR MUSIC DONE BY STRING CORTETS(NO PERCUSSION OR WORDS)(WITH MONEY I CAN GET TO A STORE AND GET P-DAY CLOTHS. I DIDENT REALIZE THAT SERVICE CLOTHS GET THRASED! HAHA)(UMM.. Have you had any great experiences this week? Gonzo gave a good lesson on Sunday on the growth of the church and how important it is to be a missionary.
Hope that you are well and in good spirits, keep smiling and giving off that glow. I know that the lord will bring those that are ready to you to hear his message.
The spirit will guide you if your in tune so I would tell you that just as you need your bike working right to get from place to place, that the lord needs you working

Hello My Favorite Nephew!
How are things going this week? How are you feeling? I hope things are well. We miss you and love you.
Things here have been good and very busy. We went to the temple on Friday, it was so nice--we did sealings. Of course we had to stop at Casa and get Mexican food (I hate to tell you that because I'll bet OR Mexican food is not the same as Casa). Friday night we had our ward Halloween Party. It was very fun. Then on Saturday we had a surprise birthday party for Kelsey. It was so fun and she was so surprised (you can see pics on our blog--take a look). Then of course, Sundays are busy. I'm teaching primary now and I have 13 kids ages 4 and 5--wow, it's an adventure. After church, Kelsey had her baptism interview with the bishop, we had Grandma and Grandpa Slade over for dinner and then our home teachers came. This week should be a whirlwind week as we have soccer practice and games, prepare for Kelsey's baptism on Saturday, and then a convert baptism later that evening. CRAZY!
Hey, the Mesa distribution center did not have your size in thermal garments so I ordered them and had them shipped directly to you. So watch for them. My suggestion is to just open one set and see if they fit and if you like them. If not, we can return the unopened ones. If you like them let me know and we'll send you some more sets.
A lady that we met in Mesa last weekend was a friend of an Elder Ferrin in your mission--I guess he passed away last week of a brain aneurysm? I That's so terrible. Did you know him? NO I DIDENT BUT THERE IS ALOT OF AZ BOYS OUT HERE IM SURE A FEW DID. BUT WHAT A SMALL WORLD

Good morning, How was your week?IT WAS GOOD. I GOT ALOT DONE AND I WAS GLAD TO SEE ELDER BEAN TAKE MORE INISIATIVE
Did you get any of the rain that came through Oregon? YES IT HAS BEEN RAINING LIKE CRAZY!! BUT I GOT A RAIN COAT AND IM DOING GREAT
We had a busy week getting the store stuff ready but I think we are getting closer. GOOD!! HE LORDS GUIDENCE IN THAT AND I KNOW THAT YOU WILL BE BLESSED IN IT
Kelsey baptism went well and it was great to see the spirit at work.
Mom hit it off with the sister missionaries and is going to email there families. COOL!! ARE THEY IN OUR WARD?? AND I WAS WONDERING IF MOM WOULD SEND ME A LETTER TELLING ME ABOUT HER CONVERSION. I THINK IT WOULD HELP WITH THE INVESTIGATORS THAT I HAVE.
Can't belive how fast time seems to be going. I KNOW TOMORO I HAVE BEEN OUT FOR 5 MONTHS
Do you need anything, and did you get the box Mon sent? I GOT THE BOX AND I CANT BELIVE THAT JENNIFER IS GETTING MARRIED!! GOOD FOR HER. SHE GOT WAY PRETTY TOO. LUCKY GUY. What do you think is the best way to send you things, gift cards, cash, just want you to feel like its Christmas. UMM. JUST SEND THEM THROUGH THE MISSION OFFICE. BUT UNLESS THEY ARE USPS THE OFFICE WONT SEND THEM. SO GO THROUGH THE POST OFFICE.... UMM CASH WILL BE BEST BECAUSE I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT SIZE I WILL BE OR WHAT I WILL BE AROUND WHEN CHRISTMAS COMES. How has your companion been, are things going better? THEY ARE GOING ALLOT BETTER. I THINK ITS ME THAT IS CHANGING. I LOVE CHANGING... ITS FUNNY HOW RAPIDLY YOU CHANGE ON A MISSION. ESPECIALY WORD CHOICE AND MANARISMS. LIKE RIGHT NOW I LOVE SAYING "YA DANG RIGHT" "SHNIKEYS" "GECHA SOME" "WOOOOOAH BUDDY" AND " BAAAAYBEEEE!!!" MOSTLY USED WHEN EXPRESSING EXTRAME EXCITMENT
The typing classes, will really pay off with the new typewriter. Will you be able to take it if you get transferred? YES I WILL!!! I NEED TO FIND OUT WHERE TO ORDER RIBON THOUGH!

Any new wildlife sightings or is it still flat squirrels? NO BUT I WANT TO GET AN ARRANGATANG AS A PET. SO I WILL BE DOING RESERCH ON THAT. I HEARD ABOUT IT FROM A MEMBER WHO DOES ANIMAL CARE. ITS YOUR KIND OF PET. THEY ARE EISILY TRAIED TO DO PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING. POTTY TRAINING, GETING DRESSED. EATING... AND THEY ARE NON AGGRESSIVE.
Danjee taught a lesson on Jeremiah, and how diligent he was in tell the people gods word. Remember that we are clay in Gods hands and some times
He seems to flatten us back out and reforms us to be what he wants us to be.
I feel like he has done just that with me several times in my life and maybe this is the way in which we are perfected.
